♥ TIP: How to treat your damaged hair

Hello everyone! This post is for the girls who have damaged hair, just like me, because of relax and rebonding. Let me tell you my story first. Hehe! I have a long hair, it is originally wavy but I want it to be so straight. I was grade 6 back then when my mother first introduced me to salon treatments. She had my hair relaxed and I liked the result of it. So, whenever my hair will go back to being wavy, we will go again to a salon to have it straightened and that went on until now. That is the reason why my hair is really damaged. I was not aware that my hair is very damaged already. Well, my mother told me about it but during that time, I had no care of my physical appearance. She just told me to have hot oil every month to repair my hair but I was so lazy and had no time to go to a salon. So, I just let my hair that way. When I went to college, I already learned how to put makeup (well, still practicing right now), how to dress like a girly girl (LOL), in short, I was now aware of my physical appearance. Then one day, I went to SVS Salon to have a hair treatment. I blogged about it here. One of the employees there who was assigned to shampoo my hair told me that I have a very damaged hair. I told her that I know it already, that is why I am having a hair treatment. But she said that even there hair treatment cannot repair my hair, until it came to the part that she told me to cut my hair short, as in super short! I really don't like super short hair because that doesn't fit me. So, I just told her no, I will just find a way to repair my hair. From that day, I was like awakened, lol! Until I read a blog post about how to treat damaged hair. Whoa! That was quite long. Well, let us start now. :)

This is my version on how to repair your damaged hair. Since I am not that rich to buy expensive products with good quality, I am going to advise those products that can be easily found on supermarkets that have also a good quality and effective. :)

If you think your hair damage level is intense, then Dove Intense Repair is for you. It reconstructs hair and prevents split ends and breakage, leaves hair strengthened and resilient to future damage without weighing it down.

I prefer using Creamsilk Perfection full-bodied straight because it specifically designed to restore the health and maintain the full-bodied look of salon-straightened hair for a longer period of time plus it has Keratin, which our hair needed the most.

I also recommend you to use leave-on whenever you go outside the house to protect your hair from the sun. Do not use serum-based because it will just worsen the damage of your hair, based on my experience. Lol! Use cream-based instead. :)

And lastly, do a deep conditioning on your hair at least twice a week.

So, that's it, I hope you have learned something today. Thank you for viewing! :)))

♥ TRAVEL: Central Mindanao University

Hi! This is now my second time to blog about traveling and I stated on my first post how I really love to travel. So, here is a new place where I traveled. Me and boyfriend went on a trip to Bukidnon. We rode on a bus for 4 hours, can you imagine how exciting it is? Lol! I love riding on a bus, I don't know why. Hahaha! Oh and by the way, did I say that I never rode on an airplane and ship? Yeah, I have not experienced riding on an airplane and on a ship but hopefully, one day, I can experience how it feels to be on an airplane or ship. :) So, anyways, we went to Bukidnon because my boyfriend's cousin was graduating that time from Central Mindanao University. I think it's a public school because it is a very wide and spacious school. O.o He (my boyfriend's cousin) graduated as an IT student. This post's title is Central Mindanao University because we only toured the school and never had the time to tour the whole place. So, here are the pictures taken that day. :)

Hello! All of us have obsessions and for me, I have many. So, let me start with this post about one of my obsessions. My obsession for today are PUMPS! Pumps are closed high heels or I think it can be also called stilettos. Anyway, you will see the picture later. I am soooo obsessed with high heels, specifically pumps. Even though I cannot walk properly with it, I still buy for collection. I am planning to have a shoe closet. Hahaha! I can also use it for my photo shoots and other formal events. :) There are a lot of pumps I want to buy when I am going to the mall for window shopping. It's just sad because all high heels are expensive. :( So, one day, I was browsing the internet and these are the pumps that I want to have. :)

I know there are a lot of gorgeous pumps out there that I have not yet discovered. So far, these are the pumps that I want to own. I hope I can buy all these babies. :) How about you? What is/are your obsessions? Just hit the comment box below. 'Til my next post! :)

♥ PHOTOSHOOT: Ms. Photogenic

Hey there! Last year, same month, I joined a search, the Search for Mr. and Ms. Photogenic organized by New Jersy Studio. I don't know what gotten into my mind, I just feel that I want to join. So, I tried my luck. Luckily, I am one of the finalist for the finals. I really didn't expect it because there are a lot of pretty girls who joined. After they picked all the finalists, we need to prepare for the finals. We need to have a photoshoot with them, studio shoot and outdoor shoot. For the studio shoot, we are given 2 pictures to be our background and we should think of a concept that would fit the backgrounds. So, on this post, I am going to show you the outputs from the photoshoot. Later, I am going to share my experience as one of the finalists. :)

The first 4 pictures are outdoor shots and the last 2 are studio shots. Styled by Miss Carmen Smith. :)

I didn't win this competition, but it was worth the experience. 'Til next post! :)

♥ NAIL ART: Tribal

Hello everyone! Another nail art done by yours truly. I've been addicted to nail arts just recently. I don't know why, I think it's because I love to see colorful things. Anyway, here is my nail art last last week. Sorry for the late blog post about it, I need to study for our exams. This nail art lasted only for three days. I will tell you later why. As of now, let me show you the nail art. :)

As you can see, the stripes are very perfect which is impossible for me to attain. xD I used a nail art striping tape which I bought from Nail Art Center. On the fourth finger, I also used the tape but I added some drawings to obtain that tribal look. I used a pencil which I dipped on a black nail polish so that I can draw it well and because I do not have nail art tools. But if you are pro enough to draw using nail art brush, then go for it. As for me, I'm going to be resourceful. Lol! As what I have said awhile ago, this nail art lasted only for three days because the tapes always wear off and I'm tired of it so I just removed all the nail polish. xD Now, I realized that I really need a good quality top coat.

So here it is, it's very simple and attractive because of the color yellow. Tell me if you tried other designs of tribal. Thank you for viewing. :)))

♥ EXPERIENCE: Hair Treatment at SVS Salon

Hello! I just experienced having a hair treatment at SVS Salon. Before I go on to my experience, let me share something about the salon. :)

SVS stands for Super Visual Salon. It is a Korean Salon. The owner is a Korean and some of their employees are also Korean. But I think, the other Koreans there are also part of the salon because they only do the haircut while their assistants do other things. Well, anyway, point is the salon is being managed by Koreans. So let me just show you first their place. :)

that's the owner :)
They also have food counter and also accepts orders on Korean foods. :)

You can also buy Korean products from them. :)
And my most favorite part of their place is this:

with their model miss Janelle Tee :)
Shelves full of nail polishes! O.O I am so addicted to nail polishes recently. I love the colors of their nail polishes, makes me want to steal them. Hahaha!

My experience at SVS salon was fun and exciting. I had a free hair treatment from them. I think all of the Korean salons are really expensive. When I was told that I'm going to have a FREE hair treatment from them, I was like WOW! Then, I asked if how much it will cost if it's not free and they said it's P1500. O.O So, I was really thankful to have that opportunity. :) I really need a hair treatment right now because my hair is really damaged. I had a Hair Relax every after 6 months and the chemicals from the medicine made my hair really damaged. :(

This is me before they did my hair treatment.

sorry for the quality, I only used my phone's camera
During my hair treatment.

their stuffs are so cute and very techie XD
after :)

Do I look like a Korean now? Lol.

All in all, I love how they did my hair. Thank you so much SVS! :)
