♥ NAIL ART: Cupcake

Hello everyone! Don't you know that I really love to make nail arts? It's my habit already to change nail art every week. I know it might ruin my nails but I really can't resist myself. I really get easily attracted to nail polishes. So, here is another nail art post. I made this nail art last last week. Sorry for the late post. :) From now on, I will try to do my best in having the steps to be included in my posts. To begin, here is a picture of the step by step process. :)

Step 1: If you have a cuticle care routine, do it before putting any nail polish. Read my cuticle care routine here. :)

Step 2: After putting your base coat/nail hardener, paint all of your nails, except the ring finger, baby pink.

Step 3: On your ring finger, paint only the tip of your nail or you can paint half of it.

Step 4: Using a nail art brush, draw vertical stripes.

Step 5: To make a cupcake, draw an icing on the other half of your nail.

Step 6: Then, put some toppings on the icing.

Step 7: Lastly, apply top coat to seal your design and add a beautiful shine.

And here is the result. :)

You may do the design on all of your nails, it's up to you or you could just put the design on your thumb and ring finger. :)

Here are the nail polishes that I used:

There you have it, I hope you have understood all the steps. Hahaha! More nail art posts soon. Thank you for viewing! :)

♥ REVIEW: Excel Paris Matte Lip Cream in shade #512

Price: P50.00
Availability: Any online store

Swatches:

My thoughts: I have been very curious about this Excel Paris Matte Lip Cream because it is very cheap and I never heard of the brand before. But I can see that it has a good color and I also wanted to try a matte lipstick. So, I didn't hesitate to buy since it is very cheap. Since I have a dry and cracking lips, I always use lip balm before putting anything on my lips. As you can see above, the one with the lip balm was easily wiped off. So, I conclude that when you use it alone it will really last for hours. Matte is really difficult to erase. Here are the few things that I like about this product. It is buildable. You can put a little amount just to put a little color on your lips. And if you want the very red, you can put as many amount as you want. Hahaha! I really love this color. I prefer to wear red than nude or pink. However, it doesn't have a list of its ingredients so it might be harmful. Overall, I still love it, I am just using it very often to avoid any harm if there is any.

♥ NAIL ART: Tuxedo

Hi everyone! Here is another nail art that I personally did. This nail art is one of my fave nail arts. I really had fun doing this nail art. It is very easy to make as long as you have the nail art tools. I recommend this nail art to those who have long nails. I patiently waited for my nails to grow longer just to make nail arts because I really can't appreciate nail arts on short nails. I have very short and wide nails by the way. So I take extra care for my nail so that it will not crack and break. Anyway, hope you enjoyed viewing all of my nail art collection. More nail art posts coming soon. Thank you for viewing! :)

♥ REVIEW: Sassy Colors Magnetic Nail Polish

Price: P79.75
Bought at: SM Davao Department Store
Availability: Any local department store

directions

My thoughts: This is my first time to try a magnetic nail polish. To tell you honestly, I did not want to buy or try a magnetic nail polish because I have read a bad review about it. But when a saleslady approached me and my aunt to test the magnetic nail polish, I was attracted to it so I thought why not try it myself. So, let me say first all that I like about this nail polish. First is I like it because it's fast drying. Second, it doesn't chip off immediately. And lastly, it's already shiny so no need to put top coat. Now, onto the dislikes part. By the way, the picture above is my third time of using the magnetic nail polish. I was very disappointed when I first tried this item because I did not achieve the magnetic style of the nail polish. The magnet did not work and I don't know why. On my second try, same thing, it also didn't work. That is why I regret on buying this nail polish. On my third try, you can see that the magnetic style works a little but still I was not impressed. Another thing that I dislike about this product is that since it's fast drying, I hurriedly put on the magnet and because of hurrying the nail polish always sticks to the magnet. I really hate when that happens. Overall, I really regret that I bought this magnetic nail polish. I was very disappointed. I don't recommend this product to first time users of magnetic nail polish.

Hope this review helps. Thank you for viewing! :)

♥ REVIEW: LipIce Color Lip Balm in Sweet Rose

ingredients :)
this lipbalm is in the shade of sweet rose :)

Swatches:

bare lips. so pale :(
applied with LipIce Color Lip Balm
My thoughts: As you can see, I have really a dry and very pale lips. That is why it is very important for me to moisturize my lips and at the same time put some color on it. Before I knew about LipIce Color Lip Balms, I use a lip balm with no color and put lipstick after to have some color. But I find it time consuming, I skip putting on lipstick sometimes especially when I'm in a hurry. I heard about LipIce Color Lip Balms from The Beauty Junkee and I am very thankful I have read her review about this product. So, I tried it and here is now my review. I love the fact that this product gave my lips a natural color and moisturize it at the same time. That means, it can save time compared to what I always do. Another feature that I like is it has SPF 15 for UV protection. I also love how it made the dryness and chapness(is there such a word? hahaha LOL) less visible. I also like its container, it's cute and chic. However, there is only one thing that I do not like about this product. It has glitter on it. I don't like glitters on my lips, I just want it to be natural because glitters are very hard to wipe off. Some of it will spread on my face and I will be sparkling when the sunlight hits me. And because of it, I rarely use it anymore. But I would love to try other shades, maybe they don't have glitters on them. I am still thankful that I knew about LipIce. :)

Thank you for viewing! :)

♥ REVIEW: E.L.F. Stipple Brush

Price: P249.75
Bought at: SM Davao Department Store
Availability: Any Elf Cosmetics counters
Description: This Taklon brush can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush.
  • Creates a flawless airbrush look.
  • Perfect for adding definition to cheekbones or highlighting with soft layers.
  • Use with any face products such as foundation, powder, blush, etc. to build your coverage from sheer to heavy.

My thoughts: I personally love this brush. It's bristles are very soft and it does not wear off while I'm using it unlike other brushes. I really hate those brushes that are very expensive yet the bristles wear off easily. Fortunately, E.L.F. did not disappoint me. Another thing that I like about this brush is that it is very easy and very convenient to use. It can be used with wet and dry products. Now, I don't need to buy a separate brush for the foundation. It is also very affordable compared to other branded brushes. Overall, I am very happy that I bought this brush from E.L.F. I recommend the brushes from E.L.F. if you are in a budget because they are very affordable and it gives a good result and benefits just like expensive brushes. Next item that I will purchase from them will be the eyelid primer. :)

♥ TRAVEL: Trip to Gensan

I love traveling so much and I am very thankful to my boyfriend and his generous family to have them make my dream come true, which is to travel to different places. This time, we went to Gensan to meet my boyfriend's father, who docked at Gensan for a moment before cruising the sea again because his father is a seaman. We slept on their boat for one night, a very good experience for me. And here are the pictures. :)

the room where we slept. the room is very cold but the bed is warm enough to kill the coldness. lol :)
their dining area :)
a picture of the whole boat :)

On our way home, we stopped by Robinson Gensan to buy some food so that we won't be hungry during our travel back home. Food will never be absent during a travel. I love food so much! Hahaha! Lol!

yummy!
I hope I can now experience to travel through an airplane. Hahaha! Anyway, hope you stay tuned for more blog posts. Thank you for viewing! :)

♥ REVIEW: Krave's Oil Eliminator & Skin Hydrator

Price: P285
Bought at: Pink N Beautiful
Availability: Any online store that sells Krave Minerals
Description: OIL ELIMINATOR and SKIN HYDRATOR is translucent so it won’t interfere with other mineral makeup colors you are wearing. Plus, it is specifically formulated to virtually erase the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles & large pores when applied.

SKIN BENEFICIAL KEY INGREDIENTS: Our formula includes 2 of the healthiest ingredients:

1. PEARL POWDER that aids in healing, skin brightening, anti-wrinkling, and sun protection. It also exfoliates the skin and promotes new cell regeneration.

2. SODIUM HYALURONATE the world’s powerful skin hydrator which brings balance to your complexion & keeps your make up application fresh all day long.

My thoughts: I love this oil eliminator from Krave. Since I have combination oily skin, I love to use this every time I put on makeup. But for normal days, I just use baby powder. Lol! I love the benefits that this product give me. It can make my makeup last for hours without being oily. But there is only one thing I do not like about this product and it is its container and applicator. I tried using it using the applicator but I did not like it. So what I do is I open the second covering and pour an enough amount onto my palm then apply it to my face with my bare hands. I prefer using it that way because I can make sure that I apply it evenly on my face. But I actually don't mind its container and applicator as long as it gives me the benefits that I want. Here is a picture of me, I used the oil eliminator as a primer and finishing veil. :)

view my FOTD post here :)
Hope you enjoyed viewing this post. 'Til my next post. Thank you for viewing! :)
